Another Sneak Peek

The quilt is quilted! Next step is off to the person who will do the binding around the edges. Here's a peek at the quilting.

The applique blocks have a random stippling in the blocks so that the quilting doesn't cover the work.

The borders and pieced blocks are quilted with a star design to compliment the star blocks.

This little peek above is of a corner of the center block designed to represent Mother's day.

It won't be much longer now before raffle tickets are available for sale for this FABULOUS holiday quilt.

Want to thank everyone who has supported Ratbone fund raisers in the past and I hope that you are able to hekp us once again. It's through your donations and participation that we are able to help rat terriers in need. Thanks you!

Please Help Gracie Mae Ratbone

Gracie Mae is an 8 to 12 month old black tri-color Rat Terrier.
She is originally from South Carolina.

Her fostermom tells us that Gracie is very sweet and affectionate - eventhough she was probably hit by a car and left for dead. Byt he time a good samaritan found her and got her tot he shelter Gracie was almost starved to death, as well as severely injured. The kind folks at the shelter nursed Gracie Mae until she was ablet o eat and drink on her own and Ratbone could pick her up.

Gracie traveled to North Carolina to have surgery and recover. Here she is just before her surgery.

Here is Gracie after surgery., Ouchie! That's a "Kirschner external apparatus", a metal appliance that she will wear until her bones have "knit". Gracie will require another surgery to remove the hardware.

The cost of Gracie's medical and surgical care so far is $1,000To watch Gracie Mae's progess, use this link.

If you would like to help with Gracie Mae's vet bills.....

this page on our web site and scroll to bottom of page for secure login or snail mail info.
Thank you from the bottom of Gracie's little heart!
