Available for Adoption

Morticia (FL)
Morticia is a breeder dog that was taken to the pound by her owners. She is between 3 and 4 years old, and weighs 12 pounds. Morticia ignores our cats but is good with other dogs. She is crate trained and house broken. Morticia is scared of new people and will hide under the couch or bed when she feels threatened. She is a sweet dog that loves attention and loves to run and play. She's just coming out of her shell and needs a loving, caring home and someone that is willing to take time with her until she blossoms. Are you the right person for sweet Morticia?

Honey Biskit (FL)

Honey was surrendered to a Florida shelter by her owners, who were no longer able to care for her. She is 9 years young, and weighs 15 pounds. Honey gets along with the other dogs in her foster home, and ignores the kitties. She would be fine with older children (over 6 years), but probably not with toddlers. Honey loves her big green pillow, and likes to burrow under her blankie for naps. She is very playful with the young puppy in her foster home, and loves to hang out in the back yard on a sunny day. She is housebroken and crate trained, and walks on a leash well - with just a bit of pulling. Honey has some skin issues, which our vet is working to resolve. Honey Biskit is looking for a family that can appreciate her lovely ears and her loyal nature.

My son loves looking at all of the dogs on your blog!

I wanted to drop in and let Ratbones know that Emmi (a Ratbone rescue) had to be put down on Friday. It was such a hard decision to make but the arthritis in her legs was making it so hard for her to live a happy life and she was getting very cranky. We miss her greatly and I want to thank Ratbones for the great 6.5 years that we had with her!

I am a former foster mom with Ratbones and it is such a great rescue. We had lots of good times with Emmi and wish Ratbone Rescues lots of luck with placing all of their dogs!
