Louie - Florida

Louie is 9 months old and weighs 18 pounds. He was rescued from a shelter in Alabama. Louie gets along with the other dogs and the kitties in his foster home. In his last (temporary) foster home he was around young children and did very well with them.

He is still working on his house-breaking, and doesn't know how to use a doggie door; he goes out on a frequent potty schedule, and is doing well with that. Louie doesn't care to spend time in a crate, though he will sleep in one if it's close to his fostermom's bed. He's a bit shy when first meeting people, but quickly warms up and gets very friendly.
