Sweety Petey - New York
Meet Sweety Petey, otherwise known as Pete. He is a handsome 1.5 year old, 18 pound boy who loves to snuggle and give rattie kisses! Petey came from a shelter in West Virginia with his brother, where they had spent their whole lives, and he is now looking for a home to call his own. Petey is doing well with potty training - with just the occasional accident. He is crate trained and will go in on his own when he needs a break from everything. He loves to sleep in bed at night and will gladly wait until you're ready to get up before he wakes! Petey is a little shy of every day noises, having grown up in the shelter, but opens right up after a bit and is learning that things aren't that scary. He lives with young children and does well for the most part, but would be happier with children over 8 years of age, as he can be a bit cranky if disturbed by the little ones when in his crate or sleeping. He gets along great with his foster brothers and is starting to play. Petey walks wonderful on a leash and has a very calm attitude on life. Can you give this big boy with an even bigger heart a home?
