Callie in Virginia
Meet Callie… 15.4 pounds of pure snuggles, cuddles, and lots of playful puppy energy! If you’re looking for a constant companion, then Callie would be the perfect little girl for you. Callie is only 10 months old, so she is still very playful and has puppy tendencies; like chewing. Callie is 95% house trained and does well when taken out on a regular schedule. She walks well on a leash and does well with cats and other dogs. Prior to coming to Ratbone Rescues Callie had not been around young children. However, she is doing wonderfully here with the resident 2 year old toddler. She has not shown any aggression, but will run away if he makes a sudden noise or movement that scares her. Callie would probably do best in a home with another dog as she really loves a good game of chase or Rattie wrestling! She does like to bark and she will dig if she can find loose dirt, so her new owner will need to understand that she’s a very active young girl. Callie loves the water, and would make the perfect companion for someone with an active lifestyle and room for her to run. Are you her perfect someone?
